Overview

Cuvée Dolce is a 50-50 blend of Glera and Moscato grapes sourced from Masottina’s own vineyards, as well as vineyards under contract to Masottina, in the sunny hills near the villages of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, north of Treviso in the Veneto region. The first fermentation took place in temperature-controlled steel vessels, followed by secondary fermentation (to create the bubbles) via the Charmat method. It is fully sparkling (spumante) like the other Masottina Proseccos, at 4.5 bar pressure. It is bottled “dolce”, meaning that there is about 105 gr/l residual sugar, balanced by the crisp acidity of the Prosecco grapes
