We are so very glad to tell you that Pieropan Wines had a great showing at the Hong Kong Tatler James Suckling Great Wines of Italy guide. The guide will be distributed to all Tatler’s readers in China.
Here follow Mr Suckling’s notes and scores of the grand tasting:
Pieropan Soave Classico La Rocca 2010
Peach and mango with beautiful perfumes with spices such as cloves. Full-bodied, with amazing intensity and complexity with apple pie, crust and spicy pears. Powerful finish. Garganega 100% fermented in oak and aged one year. 94 Points
Pieropan Soave Classico Calvarino 2010
This is very pure with mineral and pear pie aromas. Creamy too. Full body, with intense flavors of sliced pears and apple with a finish of lively acidity that turns to white pepper and basalt. Smoky. Drink now. 92 Points
