Enzo Boglietti Brunate awarded 94 points by The Wine Advocate

Boglietti’s 2004 Barolo Vigna delle Brunate is terrific. It, too, is a big, weighty Barolo, yet the fruit is more layered than the Casa Nere and the tannins have an additional degree of finesse. Perfumed black cherries, menthol, spices and sweet toasted oak emerge from this concentrated, richly-textured wine. With time in the glass the wine gains clarity and focus, becoming even more compelling. This is a great effort from Enzo Boglietti.
